I Break A Rule

I’m not a big fan of Technology Review, for reasons won’t go into here, but this month’s issue contains a series of articles on IP, prominently including Larry Lessig and Richard Epstein. The editorial lead in [pdf] attempts to thread the needle, but ultimately expresses the kind of technological optimism that worries Lessig in claiming that DRM is never going to strangle creativity (a more measured perspective [pdf]).
